Sarah has extensive experience in employment and safety law. She primarily advises employers in relation to issues impacting upon the employment relationship ranging from drafting and amending employment contracts and HR policies, advising on breaches of employment contracts, termination of contracts and post employment obligations. She regularly advises on the myriad of legislation that impacts upon the employment relationship.

Sarah assists employers to bring the employment relationship to an end in certain circumstances, and acts in respect of unfair dismissal, general protection disputes, unlawful termination and discrimination claims. She also advises on issues arising out of the transmission of businesses, and advises employers on their award obligations. She applies her knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and related legislation to provide clients with practical advice regarding their WHS responsibilities and to assist them with SafeWork investigations and prosecutions.

Sarah has represented clients in litigious matters in Fair Work Commission, Industrial Relations Commission, High Court, Federal Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court.

Sarah, who holds a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Management, commenced with the firm in March 1990. She is admitted to practice in New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory.
