Adam is a Senior Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team. He has over nine years of experience supporting clients on a range of corporate matters, government business and information technology.
Adam provides a broad range of commercial law services including:
  • Government business. This includes undertaking work on large procurements and assisting with commercial contracting including probity, preparing funding agreements and advising on corporate governance. 
  • Corporate structuring and business relationship arrangements. This includes shareholder and equity participant agreements and joint venture arrangements. 
  • Corporate governance. This includes providing advisory services to assist company officers and shareholders. 
  • Asset protection measures. This involves implementing structures to protect assets, such as personal property or IP, to ensure that the benefits of ownership are retained. This includes implementing effective trust structures. 
  • Business operating agreements. Assisting various clients from numerous industries put in place business operating agreements such as software licensing terms or distribution agreements.  
  • Share and business acquisitions. This includes facilitating the sale and purchase of shares and businesses, such as private and public mergers and acquisitions. 
  • Intellectual Property. This includes assisting clients in relation to commercialising their IP and protecting their confidential information and copyright and other IP. 
  • Capital raising. Assisting clients to raise capital including through debt finance, investor finance and venture capital. 
During 2014, Adam completed a course in Strategic Negotiations (Dealmaking for the Long Term) at Harvard Business School Executive Education in Boston Massachusetts.
Adam, who holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Applied Economics, commenced with the firm in 2009. He is admitted to practice in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. In 2013 Adam completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. Adam is an Associate Member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
