Meesha is a Senior Associate in Hicksons Health Team.
Meesha has specialised experience in medico-legal defence work, advising individual medical practitioners and public health facilities in respect of medical negligence claims and coronial proceedings.
Since being admitted in 2016, she has acted for various government bodies and insurers including NSW Health, NSW Local Health Districts, and Australia’s largest medical defence organisation.
Meesha’s practice sees her frequently appear in the District and Supreme Court of NSW and the NSW State Coroner’s Court. In addition to her advocacy skills, Meesha has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and informal settlement conferences.
Skilled in analysing and advising on complex liability, contribution, and quantum issues, Meesha works with her clients to achieve practical and sound commercial outcomes.
