Danielle is a Special Counsel in the Health team, based in the Sydney office of Hicksons Lawyers.
Danielle has a background specialising in civil litigation, acting on behalf of various government agencies. She has extensive experience acting in historical child abuse claims (acting on behalf of the Department of Communities and Justice, Department of Education and Ministry of Health), as well as in complex medical negligence claims and general liability personal injury claims. Danielle is also highly knowledgeable in coronial inquests, having represented the Department of Communities and Justice and various Local Health Districts in multiple coronial proceedings.
Danielle has an in-depth understanding of the sensitive and reputational risks for clients in the government sector and as such provides high quality and trauma-informed strategies and approaches to highly sensitive matters.
Danielle was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2015.
