Program Overview
Commencing in March, our 12-month Graduate Program allows you to rotate through our different practice groups, gaining insights from some of the industry’s most experienced professionals across our Sydney and Newcastle teams.
You'll engage in diverse commercial tasks that enhance your legal skills and technical knowledge, all while fostered by a supportive framework and culture.
The Graduate Program Streams
Tailored to your future career goals, we offer personalised Graduate streams, across our Insurance Litigation and Commercial practice groups. These options are designed to
align with your interests to maximise your experience and provide exposure to both our Sydney and Newcastle teams.
Sydney Program
Our Insurance Litigation Program gives you the choice to rotate every 6 months through 2 out of 3 of our Insurance practice groups - Workers Compensation, Health and General Insurance.
Our Commercial Program will see you rotate every 4 months through 3 of our practice groups, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate & Construction and Commercial Litigation.
Newcastle Program
Our Newcastle Graduate Program runs over a 12-month period, across 3 of our practice groups on a 4-month rotation, including Workers Compensation, Commercial Litigation and Workplace Relations.

We are looking for candidates who:
- are passionate to develop and reach their potential;

- will bring energy and innovation into the role and into the firm.
To transition into our team, you will have completed your LLB (or equivalent); and be eligible to hold a current NSW Practising Certificate.

Application Process
To be eligible for the Graduate Program, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or have the right to work in a full-time role in Australia.
Applicants must have completed their LLB (or equivalent) and be eligible to hold a current NSW Practising Certificate with less than 12 months post admission legal work experience.
All applications should include a cover letter as well as details of your work experience, extra-curricular activities, interests, and academic results.

- Offers made - week commencing: Monday, 11 November 2024
- Graduate program - start date: Monday, 3 March 2025
