David is an Associate in the Workers Compensation team at Hicksons, advising on a broad range of statutory, work injury damages and recoveries claims.
As a dedicated lawyer who delivers pragmatic advice in workplace injury matters David has advised in areas including psychiatric injuries, physical injuries, claims for permanent impairment and litigated claims in the Personal Injury Commission.
Having previously acted for Commonwealth clients in Veterans’ entitlements, NDIS and Comcare workers insurance claims, David’s comprehensive understanding of workers’ compensation laws and regulations ensures clients receive an excellent service.
With expertise in procurement and contracting, David has previously managed complex procurement processes and possesses a comprehensive understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
David has appeared in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Supreme Court of NSW, the Local Court and the Personal Injury Commission.
David was admitted to practice in October 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (2:1 Honours), a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, and a Masters of Laws in International Law.
