Lloyd is an Associate in the Workers Compensation team at Hicksons, based in Newcastle.
He specialises in personal injury litigation, primarily representing insurers and government organisations in statutory workers compensation and work injury damages claims.
With a strong focus on insurance law and workers compensation, Lloyd provides expert advice on complex litigated and non-litigated matters. His role includes interpreting legislation and case law, particularly in niche areas surrounding lump sum compensation and common law claims for employer negligence.He regularly appears as an advocate in the Personal Injury Commission and the District Court of NSW.
Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in History and Politics) and a Bachelor of Laws, along with a Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Newcastle. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2021.
