An insurance lawyer specialising in the health sector, Violet’s more than 10 years’ experience has involved a broad range of health law cases and coronial matters, together with administrative law cases in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Federal Circuit Court.
Prior to embarking on her law career, Violet was a qualified social worker in the public health service and gained extensive experience in interviewing, advocacy, dispute resolution and the provision of counselling and support services to individuals, families and their relatives.
Violet also advises on clinical risk management issues.
With a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Social Work, she has been with Hicksons since 2015 and is admitted to practice in NSW and the High Court of Australia.
